Harvest Allotment
Our whitetail deer hunts allow one buck and one doe. To harvest a buck, he must have 18" main beams and/or an 18" inside spread with at least 4 points, 1" or longer, on one side. Ideally, we like for our clients to harverst only 4 1/2 yr old deer and older. Also included in our archery deer hunts we allow you to take one turkey of either sex.

Our spring turkey hunts allow you to take 2 birds, although Missouri regulations only allow you to take one bird during the first week of the season. There are no Jake regulations in Missouri, but we prefer that our adult hunters only take longbeards. We also have a fall shotgun season in October with a limit of 2 birds of either sex.

Wounded Animals
Any wounded animal will be treated as a kill. If blood is found, we will go to great lengths to recover the animal. If the animal that was wounded was a buck, it may be possible for you to continue to hunt for an additional fee of $300.00 paid before returning to the field.

Hunters are forbidden to shoot any animals that are not specified in their contract, unless given permission by a Missouri John's Outfitters guide. In the event that a hunte kills any game in the excess of his/her allowed limit, the hunter will be charged a harvest fee comparable to the standard hunt price for that animal.
